The perfect chocolate
No, we are not here to talk about recipes or types of chocolate, but we are pretty sure that you like chocolate, in any of its forms or variants. And if you don’t, you may well think of some other product that you love.
Now, imagine that someone comes to offer you this: a delicious chocolate that is not fattening, is not harmful to your health and does not cause addiction. Would you dare to try it?
In reality, you have only two options when faced with this “perfect chocolate”:
- Not taking a chance: You might think it’s too good to be true and, thinking it’s a fake, stick with regular chocolate.
- Take a risk and give it a try: What have you got to lose? If it’s not as they say, your life stays the same. But what if it is true? You could discover something incredibly positive and change everything you knew about chocolate.
The Chocolate Theory is actually a powerful metaphor to explain spiritual awakening and growth.
What if there was a form of spirituality that was all benefits and no prejudices or dogmas?
What if there was a form of spirituality that was a personal relationship based on faith and not on religiosity, institutionalism or acts?
What if there was a form of spirituality that challenges you to develop personally and helps you to positively impact the different areas of your life: your family, your partner, your sexuality, your work or studies, your finances, your life habits, your free time and your impact or footprint on the world?
Simple and real spirituality
We are convinced that this form of spirituality exists and that it is possible to experience it. To start doing it, you don’t need to go somewhere or do any special ritual. You just need to take that first step of faith. Decide to try that chocolate and let your own experience dictate whether it is real or not.
We are also convinced that this form of spirituality is based on a personal relationship with God.
In our case, and in the case of most people, we had to go through a time of crisis, to realize that without God we are limited to our own capabilities and strengths. And these, honestly, are really limited. Actually, as human beings, it seems to be in our nature to have to go through a period where we are shaken to decide to try approaching God. Not from formality, but really with an open heart.
From the moment you decide to take the chocolate (to know God personally), life changes. The more you seek to get closer to that greater and transcendent Being, the more you feel and see Him. And this through thousands of details.
In reality, this remains a very personal experience. For our part we are convinced that God exists, that he is present in our lives, that nothing that happens is by chance, and that we have been made by him for a purpose in this life. We cannot prove that conviction to you. We can invite you to experience it for yourself.
Do you know what? The moment we understood that there is a God who sees us and loves us, who is the creator of what surrounds us, who has made us in his image and likeness, that is, that part of his created power resides in you and me for a purpose and that, in addition, he is a God who desires the best for us, all the weight of life previously felt instantly disappeared and has never returned.
And although sometimes doubt or fear may creep in, the uncertainty, knowing that you are supported and seen is enough to make the mental click and not get stuck. You no longer fight life alone.
And that is the result of the chocolate theory, a simple and real spirituality, for real human beings, with real lives. If you try it, it could end up being the change you’ve been looking for. The decision is and remains yours.
